A Journal of Love and Pain, Sariel's awesome poetry site, is dedicated to Loki and His family.

De la Tierra y el Mar is where Saëvor writes in Spanish about her experiences with the Northern gods, particularly the Vanir.

Gangleri's Grove is Galina Krasskova's personal Heathen page dedicated to Odin.

Raven Kaldera's personal site has information on Northern Tradition Shamanism, various writings and his activist work.

Twilight and Fire is Elizabeth's blog about being a Lokean nun in a religious milieu that has no historical precedent for either Lokeans or nuns.

Other Organizations:
While we don't necessarily agree with these folks about everything (and vice versa), we applaud their non-homophobic and non-racist beliefs.


Asatru Ring Frankfurt, of which one of our members is also a member, has an extensive site is in both English and German.

Brotherhood of the Phoenix focuses on the spiritual needs of gay, bisexual and transgendered Pagan men who love men. They
are not specifically Northern Tradition but do have a shamanism/seidr special interest subgroup within their organization, which is based in Chicago.

Heathens Against Hate is not a kindred but an international "umbrella" organization of Asatruar, Odinists, Heathens and Pagans committed to combating racism and white supremacist attitudes in Northern religion.


Kenaz Kindred is a Canadian Asatru group located in Ontario. They produce an e-newsletter called The Raven's Cackle and are not afraid of controversy or of hearing both sides of an issue.

Odhroerir Fellowship is a devotional community for those who wish to honor the Northern deities, whether from a Northern Tradition perspective or otherwise. They have home bases in Connecticutt and Oregon as well as members outside the U.S.

Skidbladnir Kindred is a Vanic-oriented group located in California. Some of their members are former members of IWK.

Urdabrunnr Kindred is Galina's Heathen group based in New York City.

A Vanic Druid's Hearth has Sigrún Freyskona's interesting and often funny writings on being a Vanatruar and other diverse topics.

Chambers of the Heart is Laure Gunnlod-Hjarka Lynch's personal website dedicated to Odin and Gunnlod.

Elhaz Ablaze is the website of a group of Heathen mystics from Australia, with their collected writings on runes, seidh, magic, martial arts and of course, Heathenry.

Germanic Myths, Legends and Sagas, merely one section from D.L. Ashliman's much larger folklore and mythology site. Appears not to have been updated for a while, but useful nonetheless.

Jordsvin's Norse Heathen Web Page has information on modern Heathenry, the Troth, primary sources, Hrafnar-style seidr and runes, as well as an essay or two on being queer in Asatru.

Love, Laughter and Loki, a small but informative site from a solitary Lokean.

Odin's Gift is a wonderful site where Michaela Macha collects original poetry and tales about the Northern gods and Heathen experience.


The Rokkr contains Abby Helasdottir's striking UPG about some of the Jotun deities, incluing Loki, Hela, Angrboda, Fenrir, Surt, Laufey/Nal and Nidhogg. She also administers Helvegr on Yahoo! Groups, which is open to anybody interested in Hela and Her extended family.

Uppsala has well-written essays
from Wayland Skallagrimsson on Odin, Loki, the issue of race in Asatru, and berserkergang.

Wacian Brun is another Vanatru website with some thoughtful musing on the nature of gods and UPG.

Woden's Harrow
is full of poetry, articles, primary source translations, graphics and other goodies, although it too seems not to have been updated in some time.
